Complimentary Consult

I offer a complimentary consultation to help verify you have the necessary time working at a DOE nuclear site as well as a qualifying medical diagnosis. Even if you choose to file the claim on your own my consultation can help prevent mistakes with application that could cost time and make approval very difficult or impossible. The information I offer will give you the ability to file correctly on your own, or chose to let me handle it all for you.

If you have already had your claim denied, I offer a complimentary review of the claim and reason for denial. This complimentary review can offer a roadmap to rework and reopen the claim allowing for the best chance at approval. You can use this information to file to reopen it yourself, or you can let me handle it for you.

Rapid File

This is available for claims being filed for the first time, also for the addition of conditions being added. I know the requirements of the Department of Labor to complete the application and get it approved. I will let you know what is required and I will file all forms and evidence needed with the application. This prevents wasting time waiting for the DOL to request another form or more information. I will monitor your claim daily and send you claim status updates. You will know the exact status of your claim, allowing us to act quickly to resolve requests. I handle the claim from application until it is approved and all benefits are paid. This includes requesting letters and medical records from your doctors. This full-service claim navigation costs only 2% of the cash benefit, and you pay nothing until you are in receipt of your cash benefits.

Rapid Reopen

Available to those that have filed a claim, or tried to add conditions, that have since been denied. I review the reasons for denial and immediately order a copy of your entire claim file. We create a plan to overcome reasons for denial, and when we have what we need I will handle the reopening and filing of all evidence to get the claim approved. I will monitor the claim daily and you will receive claim status updates. It can be much more difficult to get a denied claim approved and for that reason many advocates do not work them. I am familiar with doctors that are nuclear worker friendly that can refute DOL doctors medical opinions that were used to support denial of the claim. I also have the ability to search paid subscription journals and studies for supporting evidence linking the illness to your occupational exposure. This full-service denied claim rework and navigation is performed for 10% of the cash benefit and you pay nothing until you receive your cash payout.

Impairment Evaluation Navigation

I offer navigation as you pursue your impairment benefit under Part E. The DOL would love for you to allow them to have their contracted doctors complete your impairment evaluation. The doctors they use are contracted by the Department of Labor so the impairment evaluation may not be the maximum that you are entitled to. I work with private doctors that are experienced with the diseases that affect the former nuclear worker. These physicians have years of experience with rating the impairments of nuclear workers, and they are committed to maximizing your claim for benefits. I work with you to determine if we need to add any additional conditions to your card, and I collect medical records from your family doctor and specialists. Then I work with you to schedule doctors visits and tests that would be helpful to rating your impairment. I provide all the necessary medical documents ahead of your impairment evaluation appointment. This ensures that you get the appropriate impairment rating and maximizes the compensation you receive.
